Food Philosophy

My recipes are rooted in the Mediterranean dishes of my childhood, with an emphasis on whole foods, fruits and vegetables, and no shortage of good olive oil. Born and raised in California but with a period living in Spain, I love to incorporate the flavors of international cuisine into my cooking. I also firmly believe cooking is a way to deepen our appreciation for other cultures and the bounty of incredible edible plans the world offers us, and my recipes reflect that.
